The hotel is nicely located, making it easy to explore different parts of the Island. The rooms feel cozy and have a recent touch, although single rooms lack en-suite bathrooms. The cleanliness depends on other guests, creating a mixed experience. However, the proximity to Newborough Forest and the beach adds a nice touch to the stay.
Although the hotel seemed to have been recently refurbished, my stay was not as pleasant as expected. The lack of en-suite bathrooms in single rooms was a downside, and the overall poor furnishing and decorations did not create a welcoming atmosphere. However, the convenient location for accessing Newborough Forest and Beach was a plus point.
The hotel offers a convenient location for exploring the island and is a good spot for dining options. Our room, while newly refurbished, triggered my partner's asthma due to dust and overlooked a mix of road and garage views. Pricing was fair for the value provided.
The Holland Arms, where I stayed in June 2015 with a shared bathroom, seemed to have recently refurbished rooms. However, the downside was that the single rooms didn't have an en-suite bathroom. The location was great for exploring other places on the island, like Newborough forest and the beach, close to the A55 for dining options. Despite the shared bathroom situation, the rooms felt fresh from a renovation.
The hotel is in a good place for traveling to other places on the Island and offers easy access to Newborough forest and beach. The dining experience was good overall, offering a variety of options, although some elements like the beans could be improved. Despite some minor room issues such as the smell of cigarettes, my stay was cozy like a snug bug in a rug in room 6.
The hotel was very affordable but unfortunately, the rooms were dusty, triggering my partner's asthma. The rooms could have been cleaner, poorly furnished, decorated, and in need of repairs. The passageways also needed improvement in decor.
The hotel is conveniently located close to the A55, making it easy to travel around the island. The rooms are cozy with a view of the road and garage; however, some cobwebs were present. The lack of an en-suite bathroom is a drawback, but the cleanliness is satisfactory. The self-service continental breakfast, while offering only basic options like cereal and toast, could be improved in quality.
The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the island, especially for visits to Newborough Forest and beach. It's also close to Holyhead, offering easy access to exciting days out. The dining experience, with its continental breakfast, could use some improvements, as some items felt frozen. However, the handmade pasta was a delicious highlight.
The hotel is located in a good spot for traveling around the island, close to Holyhead for easy access to Newborough forest and beach, perfect for great days out. The rooms were fine, but there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes despite the no smoking signs. The passageways could use some improvement in decor, which may depend on the cleanliness of other guests. Not having an en-suite bathroom was a drawback, but overall, it was a decent stay.
I felt like a snugg bugg in a rug in room 6. The hotel rooms look like they have been recently refurbished and were clean enough, but the downside is the single rooms not having an en-suite bathroom. There is room for improvement in the decor of the passageways.
